Meet Jada Hall, a junior chemistry major with an emphasis in health related professions and a minor in biology at the historic Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi. Passionate about service and leadership, Jada is involved in a wide range of organizations on and off campus. She currently serves as Miss Junior on the Tougaloo Royal Court, an ambassador for the Jackson Free Clinic, and a cohort leader for the Jackson Heart Study. Jada is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she serves as treasurer and historian for the Gamma Omicron chapter. Beyond Tougaloo, she represents 37 HBCUs as the National Parliamentarian for the Pre-Alumni Council and participates in the American Heart Association HBCU Scholars Program.
Jadaโs leadership journey is fueled by her passion for service and a deep belief that greatness is defined not by achievements, but by the people you impact. She strives to uplift and inspire others in every role she takes on. However, she acknowledges that leadership isnโt always easyโone of her greatest challenges has been learning when to say no and prioritizing her mental health. Jada emphasizes the importance of self-care in order to be the best leader for others.
Her advice to aspiring leaders? Find a mentor, stay true to yourself, and never view rejection as failureโitโs simply redirection toward something greater. Jadaโs goal is to leave a legacy where every person she encounters grows into a better version of themselves.
